Babycare
for Beginners,
From burping to tooth cleaning, cutting nails
to taking a baby's temperature, this fun, user-friendly
book coaches novices through 30 of the most common tasks
they'll have to face during the first year of a baby's life.
Each procedure is described clearly and is illustrated with
large, step-by-step color photographs that show everything
in detail. The book can stand up or be placed open alongside
the baby so that you can read it while doing whatever you
need to do. Ideal for new parents, grandparents, baby-sitters
and mother's helpers.

Caring
for Your Baby and Young Child: Birth to Age 5 ,
As a pediatric nurse, I recommend this book to all new parents.
I now give this as a shower gift to all my friends! (This
also keeps them from calling me so much!) I also recommend
the other books in the series.

What
to Expect - the Toddler Years ,
This book has great information on why toddlers do what
they do. There's suggestions to keep toddlers health and
safe, info on how to support toilet training, and how to
care for a toddler with special needs. The best part is
the activity part -- with suggestions, recipes and ideas
on what to do together.
