Continuing Education

An online class cannot cover hands-on topics such as emergency first aid and CPR. We recommend that students continue their education by supplementing this course with a Basic First Aid and pediatric CPR class. We have one available here! This Online Babysittting Certificate class is recommended for girls 11-17.

Our Program Offers:

	30% Discount for each girl, and get a free leader's membership for each troop. Troop cost: $12.50 per girl
	Program Information for Leaders: Each leader has access to the special Babysitting curriculum area filled with supplemental games, projects and activities. Girls can working either individually or together as a group. Time estimate: 4-6 hrs.
	Each student earns a Personalized Babysitter's Class Certificate suitable for framing.
	Students also receive a complete set of sample forms to can customize for their Babysitting Business:

Online access anywhere girls are: at home, in the library, anywhere you are for a whole year! Classes are just a click away. Leave and come back any time. Our one year pass equips students with the very latest safety info. Our course is constantly being revised. Students can download the latest tips and info as class notes at the end of each section. Value for Your Time and Money

This course is a "learn at your own pace" class. Girls may work alone around one computer and then join together in group activities, or work together in groups. Each participant must have her own Registration number. Each girl must use her number to Register Online in order to take the Mastery Test at the end of the Course.

Girls learn at different rates. That's why students can take as much time as they need to learn the material. Girls have a whole year from the day they register for class to review each topic as many times as needed to pass the test.

How Does the Class Work?

1. SIGNUP Go here to get one or more Registration Numbers.

2. Next, REGISTER each participating student so we can send them their Personalized Certificate and Business Kit when they pass the Mastery Test.

3. START the class either together as a group or individually at home.

There are six chapters. They are:

• Planning Prevents Problems
• Safety and Security
• Activities: Playtime you can Manage!
• Child Care and Discipline
• Babysitting as a Business: Getting, Keeping, Creating Jobs
• Beyond Babysitting: Mother's Helper, Party Helper

Go through chapters 1-6 in order. Start with #1, Childcare Basics, and continue to #6, Beyond Babysitting. (Be sure to take the quizzes and chapter tests. They'll help with the Mastery Test.)

Girls can leave each chapter and come back to it whenever your schedule allows. Quiz scores in the lessons are not stored or tallied. Girls may review each topic and take the test as many times as needed to pass the test.

How To Get Your Certificate and Business Kit

After each girl has taken the final test and passed it, our program automatically alerts Customer Service to send a personalized Babysitter's Certificate and Business Kit to the name and address each student gave during the class registration process.
